Come visit the Library's Teen Volunteers as they vend their sometimes informational, collaborative, fantastical, artistic, and hilarious zines (booklets) at the inclusive, festive, and fun Queer Trans Zine Fest in Providence, Rhode Island. Aside from zines, the group also prepares a lot of other creative merchandise to showcase at the event. This is the last year ever for QTZ Fest, don't miss it!
Teen Volunteers have applied to table at this annual Zine Fair for the past three years, which is hosted by Providence-based organization Binch Press/ Queer.Archive.Work. Find out more at https://qtzfest.com/
If you are a Teen and you want to make something to sell, but you aren't officially a volunteer, get in touch. Nike, the Teen Librarian, is the contact person. Email ndesis@oldlymelibrary.org to learn more, or stop by most afternoons.
